About Jeaninne

Sometimes God has a way of changing your plans.

After pursuing a career in higher education, Jeaninne's career was altered when she heard the call to step away to prepare for a new career as a Christian author, Bible teacher, and author educator.

 

After a season of preparation, she began her new career when she published her first book, Living by Faith, a collection of inspirational poetry. Since the publication of her first book, she has authored four more books: Baileyisms: Inspirational Quips and Quotes for living the Christian life, Living by Faith: An adult coloring book of Inspirational poetry, and Lessons from the Writing Wilderness: How I survived the journey to become a Christian author and how you can too and Living by Faith through the midlife years: Forty Devotions to empower you for the journey. Her devotions and poetry have been published in Cross and Quill, The Christian Communicator, and Christian Woman Today Online.

 

In 2009, Jeaninne launched JStokes Writing Ministries, whose mission is to teach God's Word through the medium of writing to inspire, equip and encourage people as they seek to live a life of faith in every arena of life.

Combining her experience as an educator and her passion to help others answer the call of Christian writing, in 2012 Jeaninne launched Writing for Him Author Educational Services, whose mission is to provide services to help aspiring Christian authors prepare to write and publish for the Christian marketplace. Her service offerings include webinars and workshops, book coaching, keynote messages, and self-publishing coaching.

Jeaninne's former education includes a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of North Texas and a M.Ed. in General Education from Texas Christian University. 

Jeaninne resides in Arlington, TX with her family. She enjoys walking, reading, watching old movies, listening to old school music and rooting for her favorite professional football team.
